Interior Design

So this was the first ever large scale drawing where I was to ramp up my use of symbolism. It’s sprawling quite a bit as a result, I had a lot of unresolved issues, loads of memories I wanted to forget (still want to), anger towards society in general. We see a character from the Residents taking heartshaped shits into a toiletbowlhead marked with a paragraph symbol.

We have a giant monsterfigure with two sets of feet for fingers - the male part excited, the female part legs/fingers crossed (note how it would be for hope when in front, or meaning lies if behind), away from the male neighbour as if not interested. Not that anything can ever happen between them.

in the lower left corner you can see the first appearance of the person with a city on its back - with roads going back to the pooper.

We have a birth of some weird sack of sick intestines and blood, coveting a bomb, and an arm turning into a giant squid. People washing themselves in blood - that sort of thing.
