Godheim, the painting

When the first asked me to do their debut album cover, I didn’t think of the kinship between my project and theirs - but with Godheim it was a certain likeness. Because with it there was a duality between these factions.
So I asked them if these two institutions could be political theatres within my city, and they were delighted to join forces. So I picture there is a staged war between the two contestants, an ongoing battle raging back and forth on the road (Which, ofcourse, is all a part of the larger picture which is my internal emotional storyline).
The Pegasus represent the pure absolute kindness, fierce warriors for goodness. The brains are a play on words in norwegian, connecting brain and an iron. The light-monuments provide strength for the Ethos-division. The staplers are veichles that work as sensorship on sketchbooks.

After a friend saw the digital piece, he asked if i could paint him a physical version. Who am i to decline that?
I added several things of their own choosing, such as their car and camping trailer, four dogs, a referance from an artpiece they allready have and a couple of live avocados.
