the Stairs of Molt - sketch forming the basis of my left arm sleeve tattoo

So my right arm is a giant mechanical machine that could work as a lift from the sea level and up to the top of the mountain where the city is built.

The left arm is all made out of mist, a soapy substance that coagulates and form crystal sculptures around a tunnel. This tunnel reaches all the way down to the sea floor, where some gas bubbles up - my arm is this gaseous shape. At some point in the story, there are ghostlike beings without hands that pack this gas into pockets and make a giant hand.

The stairs is some sort of cultural or superstitious gathering spot , located on my left shoulder.
