This was drawn shortly after watching Roy Anderssons beauty Songs from the Second Floor (the hung lady made an impression - a casualty of the nazi killing spree. The main character in the movie starts to see ghosts from the past, and this woman’s brother is walking around looking for her. For ever, and our “hero” cannot do anything to help him.

seriously, if you haven’t seen “Songs from the Second Floor”…. Just do it. It’s been my favourite movie since I first saw it in 2004.
